Families are welcomed and encouraged at St Gregory's with an All Age Worship service in of which children play an active part.  There are three communion service a month (1x BCP and 2x Common Worship) and once a month we join with another parish.  Every member ministry is promoted and the laity are much involved in the running of services and pastoral work. We support a number of charities at home and overseas. The church community are an integral part of the life of the excellent C of E primary school and regular school  services are held in the church. They visit the school twice a month for the Open the Book assembly, which is greatly appreciated by the children and staff. A monthly Pram Service for mothers, babies and toddlers is held in the house of one of the church wardens and has brought several young families into the life of the church with a number of christenings and confirmations resulting. The Church congregation is very ecumenical. During the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity we hold a week-day service attended by people from all denominations. . One of our church warden is a Methodist, and the Treasurer is a Roman Catholic. We feel that the life of our church reflects and is part of the community in which we live and we are constantly aware that mission relates to all who live in the village and beyond.
